Description

This is a reproduction of an antique European sampler, circa 1790.The original sampler has been embroidered with silk threads on fine uneven-weave linen (20W x 17H threads/cm).

Gigi R Designs reproduction is charted for 40 count linen and hand dyed cotton threads with a DMC alternative. For some colours only DMC numbers are given.

Stitch Count: 326W x 186H

Model stitched on 40 count fabric - 'Beige' by Weeks Dye Works with one strand of embroidery floss.

The sampler is stitched using stranded cottons by The Gentle Art, Weeks Dye Works and DMC.

The Gentle Art Sampler threads: Grasshopper, Evergreen, Highland Heather, Chamomile, Woodrose, Tin Bucket, Grape Leaf, Lambswool, Chives, Espresso Bean, Carriage Black, Black Licorice.

Weeks Dye Works threads: Parchment. Havana, Monkey Grass, Tarragon, Grasshopper, Curry, Teal Frost.

To protect the interests of our designers, exchange or refund is not available on books, charts and kits. This also applies to custom finished items, special orders and fabric cut to your specifications, these items cannot be returned unless there is a fault in the product.

Special orders once placed cannot be changed. You will be asked to provide a deposit if you wish us to order any items especially for you. If you change your mind and decide not to go ahead with the order the deposit is non-refundable.

If a product is faulty, please return it to us along with your docket within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement. There are no returns or exchange on discounted and sale goods. If items have been marked down due to an imperfection it will be identified as such.
