Emma Slade 1833. A reproduction of an antique sampler.

The stitches used in this sampler are cross stitch and half cross stitch over two threads of linen, tent stitch over one and satin stitch. Some of the cross stitches are “offset”.

The original sampler was stitched on fine silk organza, approximately 90 threads to the inch, the model was stitched on 45 ct Legacy linen in Jersey Cream, using Au Ver a Soie 100.3 silk threads.

Stitch count 136 w x 146 h.

A conversion into D'alger and DMC is included on the chart.

What will I receive? You will receive via email a clear colour cross stitch chart, a colour image of the finished design and a colour image of the antique original. If a product is faulty, please return it to us along with your docket within 14 days of purchase for a full refund or replacement. There are no returns or exchange on discounted and sale goods. If items have been marked down due to an imperfection it will be identified as such.
